Here are some -old- & *new* pictures of Braylee and her friends...and some of my friends too!

These are some pictures that were taken at the Celebrating Home party i had {in october}  It looks like Jamie and caressa are singing to what the kids are playing BUT, they are really looking through the order catalog! haha

 Second Group: Phil, Courtney, Camryn & Cayson along with Jamie, Trev & Finley came over for supper before the crazy basketball season started!  The kids love to get into things and play together!  Finley is the oldest...then Braylee is a month younger...Camryn is then a month younger than Braylee.  Baby Cayson is 12 weeks in these pics!

This is Braylee's friend Camryn!   They play together great!

Here are a few of Braylee, Camryn, and Finley...who knew empty boxes were SO entertaining!?!Braylee was crying for the mere fact that Camryn was cyring! haha it was so funny!

On to the next batch of pictures....My friends and I try to get together each year at some point before christmas to decorate christmas cookies.  Caressa was invited this year since she works with JaNahn {the hostess this year}

B.L.T. Stables---coming spring 2010!

Here is a little preview of BLT Stables Located in Middle Point, OH- Several people brought their own horses in to test our trails last weekend.  They LOVED it!  which is great news for us!  We currently have 9 horses that are going to be used for the trail rides.  The actual ride on the trail is a full hour...unlike other trails that say they are an hour but count 15 minutes of it for the riders to get on and off!  The rides will start in the spring once the weather is nice!

Most of the horses in this picture are privately owned---the brown and white one in the center is one from the stable.  His name is Apache and he is a little over 2 years old.

Here is a closer look at some of the horses...and people!  It was pretty cold out that day so everyone had their overalls and winter gear on! It was a GREAT time though!

This is the stable owed horse i have ridden the last few times we've been out.  His name is Danny and he actually comes when you call his name!  He is a small horse so his riders are limited to smaller adults and kids.  He is a great little guy!  In he background you can see a black and white horse--her name is Quincy and is owned by Brady--the "B" in BLT. 

Our Fireplace {Re- Done!}

We decided we would get more benefit from having a fireplace if we put in an insert with a blower...contrary to our knowledge, we could not use an insert because we had a {fake} chimney. So, we had to get something similar to what we had...no big deal! After buying a brand new fireplace, flew, and rebuilding the exterior of the chimney [and painting it] we were ready to start putting on the new stones! So about two months later...here is our blank canvas that we started with!
I laid out the rocks where i wanted them and dad was in charge of putting on the "butter"

If you are asking yourself "why are there towels in the fireplace" its because we had a massive rain before the top of the chimney was done...SO they were used to soak up the rain! Thank goodness not too much came in!

All the rocks are in place now! The black strip is where the mantel is going to go...its the same {wooden} one we had before!
The next step is to get the grout between all the stones...which may be a thanksgiving vacation project!

its been two days and all the stones are still sticking up there so that is good news! haha

This gives the room so much more personality than the brick did...i'm glad logan refused to get brick now :)

New Front Door

We decided that our solid front door {with a half circle window at the top} needed to go! So, dad ordered us a door with a 3/4 window and sidelight. ~the frosted designs, however, left a lot to be desired.

Being the adventurous crafty person that I am...i decided i would frost it myself with my own design :-) With the help of caressa and a late friday night....here is the final project installed and in use...thanks to Logan, Dad, and Uncle Homer. {minus a storm door} i'm not quite to the point where i want to cover it up yet!


It is AMAZING how much light comes in now!

Next up...the fireplace stone installation-hopefully ***hold your breath*** by thanksgiving!

Aiden & Braylee

Braylee got to spend some extra time with her cousin Aiden this weekend...(and aunt Jessi & uncle craig) Nana usually takes them once a week to eat supper and play...so this was bonus!

Everyone assumes they are brother and sister since they look so much alike!

Logan got a doe about two weeks ago---and this BIG GUY today! Must have been the new camo his wonderful wife bought him for {early} christmas! :)

Here are some pictures of Braylee feeding her pony Chip. He is a great little pony for her and she can't wait to see him everyday! We try to work with him a few times a week to get him used to leading and having her around--he's only 6 months so he's got a little ways to go, but doing great none the less!
